    Responsibilities

    As a Field application engineer you would work with dealership associates, regional sales managers, and customers for successful application roll outs. You would travel to different customer sites to provide technical support and find solutions for setup issues.

    • Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
    • Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
    • Listen, understand and convey customer requirements.
    • Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives
    • Help users maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages and collaborating with IT experts on network optimization
    • Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
    • Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.
    • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, AP’s)
    • Analyzing technological problems in installed application systems, checking its technical resolution and working condition, and fixing the same if required
    • Collaborate with other team members across the organization to produce and support amazing software applications.
    • Evaluating the customer's requirement regarding systems application and administering the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals accordingly as instructed
    • Troubleshooting and resolving network and system applications on customer's request
    • Contribute ideas and technology alternatives to make our products better.

    Qualifications

    • A solid understanding of network communications technology – Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.
    • A solid understanding of different network types – LAN, WLAN, WAN, VOIP
    • Knowledge of SQL Databases, MySQL
    • Experience in systems and applications integration
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork experience, and a positive attitude
    • Strong communication and problem solving skills
